Robert Boyd Jr. – Saxophonist | Composer | Bandleader Robert Boyd Jr. is a Philadelphia-based saxophonist, composer, and bandleader known for his expressive sound, modern approach, and deep roots in the jazz tradition. Blending elements of hard bop, contemporary jazz, and soul, Robert has developed a voice that is both dynamic and authentic. A regular presence in the Philadelphia jazz scene, Robert has performed at respected venues including Chris’ Jazz Cafe, Ortlieb’s Jazzhaus, Cellar Dog Philly, and Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts, among others.
