Difference between alto saxophone and tenor saxophone

Today I want to share with you the difference between alto saxophone and tenor saxophone, because many people are new to saxophone and wonder why there are alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone and even baritone saxophone.
In fact, the difference between saxophones is like the difference between violin and viola, each instrument has a different range, and saxophone is a transposing instrument.
Main difference:
The alto saxophone is an alto saxophone, which is in E-flat. The tenor saxophone a tenor saxophone, which is in B-flat.
The B-flat tenor, which is also known as a round lower than the E-flat, has an bend in the front of the neck, and has a mellow and steady tone. It is larger or longer than the E-flat, of course, it is also heavier since it uses more materials. There are also curved B-flat pipes, which look very delicate. The alto saxophone has a brighter tone than the tenor, the higher notes are more mellow.
In a wind band, the number of tenor saxophones is less than that of alto saxophones, and they are used as auxiliary roles and use the same music score as tubas and trombones. In jazz, the tenor plays a central role. Personally, I think that the tenor sounds better when soloing, but it is not recommended for beginners to learn.
